Is it an app I download?
It runs in your browser at readbetweenthelines.app. On your phone, add it to your Home Screen and it opens like an app — on iPhone that’s also how notifications work.
Will it spoil books for me?
No. Screenings and picks never reveal endings, deaths or twists. Spoiler details are tucked away and only shown if you choose to open them.
Can it keep certain topics away from me?
Yes. Tell Book Bestie the topics you want to avoid or be warned about, and it honors them in every screening, pick and chat.
Where do the book facts come from?
From sourced web research — publisher pages, retailers, Audible and reader reviews. If something can’t be confirmed, it’s left blank rather than guessed.
What does it cost?
It starts with a 7-day free trial, then $9.99 a month. Cancel anytime. That includes up to 40 brand-new book screenings a month (books already researched don’t count), unlimited picks and chats, and importing up to 250 current books from Goodreads or StoryGraph (reading now, TBR, DNFs and your last two years), with all your older reads saved to your reading history.
